Floating Treatment Wetlands (FTW) use three well known scientific principals to treat water bodies. Hydroponics, Bioremediation, and Phytoremediation help remove unwanted nutrients from your water body.
They can be retrofit into an existing waterbody or water treatment lagoon. We work with Stormwater and Wastewater engineers to design systems to get you into and keep you in compliance.
FTW's are made to support foot traffic for maintaining the vegetation. They also have enough buoyancy to support hanging baffles, that help to direct water flow through the plants root zone.
